For those intending to buy a 2 wd tractor for loader work just be aware the front stub axles are often a weak point when carrying loads on the front, the shock loading you get from traveling with loads over the front axles can snap the stubs and cause front axle pivot bushes/bearing problems amongst others .Did anyone mention power steering ? The salesman there seemed quite reasonable. I've got a few Kubota tractors, which are great, but at the vineyard where I do some work, it's steep and we use Antonio Carraro tractors as their design means it's the machine you want to be in on a slope – low centre of gravity and the articulation means you simply can't lift a wheel.
